
I was a bit surprised with today’s Brew Review as I tried the Apple Cinnamon Strudel version of Toppling Goliath Brewing Co. in Decorah, Iowa’s Barrel-Aged Pastry Stout. This heavy 15% stout with cinnamon-spiced apple flavors meets the flavors of a latte with lactose and was aged in bourbon barrels.
