Last night wasn’t terrible, going 4-5 to lose 1.03 units on the big slate with a nice comeback on the late games. Just two NHL games on the slate tonight before another huge slate tomorrow. Another bounce back coming!
Blue Jackets vs. Flames (7:00)
I broke this game down in depth in my article on StatSalt last night. As I broke down in that article, even in the second half of a back-to-back after their 4-3 win against the Sabres last night, I expect a win for the Flames here tonight on the road. The price on this game at just -137 seems like solid value to me and I’ll take Calgary for half a unit. I’d lean the over, but not enough to bet it.
Islanders vs. Devils (7:30)
The Isles are coming off two wins in a row against my Sabres and the Yotes while the Devils are surprisingly on a two game losing streak, losing 4-3 to the Panthers and the Coyotes. I like Jersey to bounce back here with a win on their short trip to Long Island. I’ll take them for half a unit.
