I got a slight 0.45 unit win on yesterday’s NHL slate going 6-4. Tonight we have just two games and only one tomorrow before every team in the league is in action on Tuesday. Let’s grind out some wins.
Red Wings vs. Flames (5:00)
I broke this game down in depth in my article on StatSalt. As I said in that blog, I’d lean the Red Wings win at home even in the second half of a back to back, but not enough to bet on them. I do like the over though, which I’ll take for half a unit.
Ducks vs. Bruins (8:30)
Last night with their big 4-2 win in LA, the Bruins, who I don’t have much faith in this season advanced to a perfect 4-0 start. This team, while getting worse from last year is still a very good team compared to the Ducks, who are still one of the worst teams in the NHL. I like the B’s to win here and although the moneyline is too expensive for me at -245, but I’ll take them in regulation for half a unit. I’d lean the under but not enough to bet it.
