After the big Saturday slate, I had a mini sweep of yesterday’s two game NHL slate, going 2-0 to win a unit. Tonight we just have Sabres vs. Habs before every team’s in action for tomorrow’s 16 game slate. Let’s get another mini sweep!
Sabres vs. Canadiens (7:00)
As a Sabres fan, after the shaky first few games of the season, I was thrilled by how well my boys played in Saturday night’s 3-1 win over the Islanders at home in the black and red. Tonight let’s try to get another win like that! I broke this game down in depth in my article on StatSalt, and as I said in that article, I like the Sabres to win this one at home. I’ll lay the juice at -180 on them for half a unit. The play I like even more though in this game is the over. Although Buffalo played well defensively against the Isles and the team defense was what impressed me the most in that game, that’s not the norm for this team and this matchup had two of the worst defenses in the league last year. I’ll take the over in this game for a unit. Let’s get the 2-0 mini sweep on this game to win a unit and a half!
