My WAY too late recap of last week’s episode of Bachelor in Paradise.

This has to be the latest I’ve watched a Bachelor in Paradise episode since I started watching this franchise, but I’m finally catching up on this past Thursday’s episode before tomorrow night’s airs.

We start the episode off on if Sam has taken a shit yet after ten days or if she has to leave Paradise and go home by sunrise. She has to leave Paradise, leaving behind her connection with Aaron. That sucks for both of them, since it was completely out of their control.

The girls have the roses this week, and some of the guys are already going to go home and then another joins the beach, John Henry, who I don’t really remember much of from Charity’s season of The Bachelorette. This guy’s real nervous to be at the beach and asks Olivia to go on the date. Before she goes, she talks to Peter first and after he tries to guilt her into not going, she goes on the date with John Henry. They have a massage date and they stay off by breaking the bed as they sit on it. Their date goes great as they get out of their comfort zone and have fun.

John B. from Charity’s season comes down to the beach as well. He asks Eliza to go on the date and before they do, she pulls Aaron and tells him. She goes on the date, possibly putting herself in the same love triangle situation again that she was in last year.

Olivia and John Henry get back from their date and she’s super excited about her new connection. She comes back and talks to Peter which is so awkward to watch. She completely puts herself into a love triangle though, not making a decision on either.

Wells calls everyone over to the bar and he introduces everyone to the Paradise Truth Box, a completely anonymous way for everyone to speak their minds and stir up all of the drama.

Sean pulls away Jess to talk since he hasn’t made a strong connection with Rachel. She tells him that she likes having conversations with him, but she completely friend zones him and goes right back to Blake. Brayden, who doesn’t want to step on toes tells Blake that he wants to try to make a connection with Rachel, and Blake encourages him to go after her. Brayden goes to talk to her and she’s shocked when he tells her that “Sean said that she likes him, but he’s not sure if he wants to pursue a connection with her”. She’s fucking pissed to hear that and goes to talk to Sean. I get Brayden’s idea but he absolutely stirred this up, but Sean really fucked himself over. Sean asks to go talk to Brayden and asks him what happened from his perspective. Brayden tells her exactly what he said but it does still kind of fuck Sean over. Clearly Sean is going home since there’s five more guys than girls.

Several of the roses are up for grabs this week. Prior to the rose ceremony, Wells opens up the Truth Box. He reads some mild ones and then Aaron S., who obviously is going him since Sam couldn’t poop, breaks the box open to get the more juicy truths read to cause some chaos. Every items was around Brayden and Kat and then Brayden and Rachel. Brayden pulls Rachel and makes out with her. Kat melts down about all the guys thoughts.

I should be able to watch tomorrow’s episode live (I love having side by side TVs).
