I’m finally watching last week’s episode of Bachelor in Paradise. I can’t believe how delayed I am watching this show this season, but life’s been busy, so TV takes a slight back seat. There’s been plenty of drama on the beach, so let’s dive right in.
Prior to the rose ceremony with five guys set to go home, a new girl comes down. A girl that we don’t know, Sam, from Bachelor in Paradise Canada, walks down to the beach. The first guy that talks to Sam trying to get her rose is Sean and she says he’s a little kid and has zero interest in pursuing someone that young. So he’s probably not getting that rose.
Onto the rose ceremony. The ladies have the roses and four guys now with Sam joining, are going home. First the obvious roses. Kylee gives hers to Aven, Rachel gives hers to Brayden after the surprising hook up at the end of last week’s episode, Eliza gives her’s to Aaron, Kat’s goes to Tanner, and Jess’s rose goes to Blake. After that we get the more questionable ones that are up in the air. Olivia, who was building something with Peter but then hit it off with John Henry when he showed up and they went on a date. She gives her rose to John Henry, which I think is the right move, much to the disappointment of Peter. Next up is Mercedes who has to decide between Will and Tyler.
Tyler, will you accept this rose?
Kind of sucks for Will, who’s now gotten ditched multiple times and is going home. With the final rose, going to someone she hasn’t even really talked since she just got there. The lifeline ticket goes to Peter, keeping him around and sending Sean, Aaron S., John, and Will home.
Rachel gets the date card to start the new week. To start her date with Brayden, they do a painting date where they paint each other and make themselves into piñatas. Kind of a stupid date, but they have a lot of fun and build their connection a bit more.
It’s Kat’s 27th birthday on Paradise, so that will be sure to cause drama. Davia from Zach’s season of The Bachelor is the first to come to the beach this week with Tanner as the number one guy that she wants to meeting. Davia only talks to Tanner for quite a while and then asks him on the date, on Kat’s birthday, and he happily accepts. Kat goes nuts since he just tells her that he should even the playing field and explore things by going on this date “ON HER BIRTHDAY!”. Kat did the exact same thing when Tanner showed up with how she played Brayden, yet is pissed when it happened with her. Karma comes around on the beaches of Paradise.
On the beach, Sam, the new girl, decides to make a truth or dare game, which obviously is going to cause drama. After a bunch of stupid dares, Jess gets asked if Blake is her number 1 on the beach. She hesitates and breaks there, so clearly there’s some issues there. Later on Blake asks her where they are in their connection and she doesn’t have an answer for him. So this is pretty much over.
The next morning Davia asks Kat to talk. They talk about what Tanner told both of them about his relationship with Kat before the date. Kat tries to convince Davia not to chase after him because he’s indecisive. The conversation goes fine though. Next Tanner and Kat go talk. That conversation and the drama continues on Thursday, which I hopefully am able to finally watch live.
