Hometowns and Love On The Golden Bachelor This Week

Our Golden Bachelor Gerry is down to his final three women of his season and we’re already at hometowns. This season has been fantastic and its such a breathe of fresh air with how open, honest, and real this show has been without all of the drama and bullshit that comes with the idea of going on the shows to build Instagram followers that the normal franchises have become. I was shocked last week when Gerry sent home Ellen, but he’s now down two his last three ladies, Faith, Theresa, and Leslie. There’s the other fun element to this that instead of the usual ordeal of meeting the parents, instead Gerry will be meeting the ladies’ kids and grandkids. Fun twist.

Theresa’s hometown in New Jersey is first. Gerry meets Theresa’s daughter, son-in-law, three grandsons, and two sisters. Theresa’s daughter asks Gerry if he’s falling in love with her mom and he says that he doesn’t really realize if he is or not yet since this is the first time he’s making connections since his wife. Her family really welcomes Gerry in and accepts him. After meeting her family, Gerry and Theresa go to the board way at Seaside Heights (shout out Jersey Shore) and Theresa on the ferris wheel tells Gerry that she’s in love with him. Gerry says in the confessional that for the first time he’s in love again.

Next up, Gerry heads to Benton City, Washington for her hometown date with Faith. They start their day together riding horses and then Gerry goes to meet Faith’s two sons, her grandkids, her sister, and her friend. Her sons ask Gerry if he’s in love and he hesitates but then tells them that he thinks he is. Gerry then tells Faith that he’s in love with her, the first time he’s said that all season. Faith says it back too.

Lastly, Gerry has Leslie’s hometown date in Minneapolis. Gerry meets Leslie’s brother, her three kids, and her three grandkids. That date goes great as well and afterwards Leslie tells Gerry that she’s in love with him and he tells her that he’s in love with her too.

Onto the most emotional rose ceremony for Gerry since he’s confused and has no idea who he’s going to decide to send home as he says that he’s in love with all three women. With the first rose…

“Leslie, will you accept this rose?”

That one make sense. And with the second and final rose…

Before he gives the rose, Gerry puts it back down on the podium and walks away crying.

We find out who that last rose goes to next week along with the Women Tell All.
