I crushed last night’s NHL slate again, going 6-1 to win 6.43 units, extending my run to 15-2 run over the last three days! Let’s keep on stacking up the wins on tonight’s four game slate!
Hurricanes vs. Flyers (7:30)
The first game between these two Metro Division teams this season back on October 30th was closer than I expected in Philly, but the Canes still picked up the 3-2 win on the road. Carolina’s picked up their pace after their start and I expect another win from them here tonight. The moneyline is a little pricey for me, but I’ll take the Hurricanes in regulation for a unit at home.
Oilers vs. Kraken (8:30)
These teams have both been lousy and have far underwhelmed my expectations, especially the Oilers. They come into tonight on back to back 4-1 wins against the Islanders and the Kraken after firing Jay Woodcroft. I’m not sold on them yet though since I think the problems with this team are much deeper than just coaching. Seattle’s struggled too with just one win in their last five games. I’d lean the Oilers win tonight at home and I’d slightly lean the over, but no shot I’m betting this game.
Avalanche vs. Ducks (9:00)
Last night I got a nice win from the Ducks as they came back from a 2-0 deficit on the road to beat the Preds and cash my +160 ticket on them. This isn’t a bad team by any means. The Avs got out of their little slump with a nice win for me on Monday as they beat Seattle 5-1. Especially with Anaheim on the second half of a back to back, I expect an easy win here for Colorado at home. The moneyline is way too pricey at almost -300, but I’ll lay the juice on the Avalanche in regulation for 1.5 units.
Canucks vs. Islanders (10:00)
The Islanders have been so bad. Coming off a 4-1 loss in Edmonton on Monday, they’re on a five game losing streak. They’re struggling. The Canucks on the other hand have been pretty solid. I’m expecting a relatively easy win for them tonight and I’ll take them for 1.5 units. I’d lean the over, but not enough to bet it.
