NHL Daily Gambling Preview – 3/6/24

Losing night for me on yesterday’s NHL slate, going 0-3 to lose 2.28 units, with disappointing late finishes on all three games. I’m laying off tonight’s three game slate, but I still break down each game!

Maple Leafs vs. Sabres (7:00)

Despite the Leafs being the far better team in this matchup, my Sabres have already won the first two games between these teams in very fun game, winning 6-4 on the road and then 9-3 at home. Both of these teams have played well lately on both ends of the ice. I’d lean Toronto gets a win here at home tonight, but I’m not betting against my boys here. I’d also lean the over, but I’ll lay off this game entirely. Let’s Go Buffalo!!

Avalanche vs. Red Wings (9:30)

This should be a fantastic cross conference matchup between these two playoff teams.  The first game between them was close less than two weeks ago, with the Red Wings winning 2-1 at home in overtime. These teams have both played well, especially offensively, although they have both been inconsistent defensively. I’d lean the Avs win this one tonight at home, but not enough to bet on it. I really considered betting the over on this game, but with both teams trending under lately and the first game being so low scoring, I’ll stay off this game completely.

Ducks vs. Senators (10:00)

Terrible matchup here between two shitty teams. In the first game between these teams, the Ducks won the first game 5-1 in Ottawa. I’d lean the Sens, who have the far better offense, get the win in this matchup on the road, and I’d slightly lean the over, but no chance I’m betting on this game.
