Last week during fantasy suites week, Joey was left with a note from Kelsey saying “we need to talk” as he’s down to his final three women of Kelsey, Daisy, and Rachel. Joey told both Kelsey and Daisy he’s falling in love with them, but will that fall apart for him with that note. Tonight we get the result of that cliffhanger, along with a Women Tell All that I’m actually looking forward to watching. I feel like the Tell All episodes have sucked for a while now, but this season’s I expect to be great.
We start the night in studio. After some filler of crashing watch parties, right to the Women Tell All. The first conversion is around the whole Maria drama in the house earlier in the season, with the whole bullying nonsense centered around her with Sydney, Medina, Lea and Jess. And although I didn’t like Maria, the whole thing was such immature garbage. Medina actually goes at Lea and tells her that she owes her an apology, and the way Lea talks about it literally proves what an immature child Lea was.
The first lady on the hot seat this season is Lexi. She had a fantastic one on one date with Joey but left him shocked as she sent herself home because she saw a different timeline of what she wanted after leaving the show than Joey. She’s great and I, as well as I’m sure everyone else in Bachelor Nation wish her all the best in the future in finding the right person for her.
Jen is the next on the hot seat after she was sent home before hometown. She seemed great during her time on the show and I think she’ll be great on Paradise despite her not being Joey’s person.
Next up, the most anticipated lady on the hot seat, Maria. After recapping her time with Joey, Jesse asks the final question of “why do you think Sydney had such a negative impression of you?”. She says that she doesn’t understand it, which I do understand. Sydney admits that watching it back that she was annoying and Maria says that she gets heated when her character is under attack. She also says that the hate that Sydney and Lea have gotten on social media has gone over the line. Really handling it perfect. Lea also admits that she was wrong as well. Maria hugs both of them and they move on. So they’ll be fine in Paradise…unless Maria’s the Bachelorette of course. And she really crushed that conversation.
Now we finally go back to Joey’s journey to find out what happens from that note from Kelsey. She freaks him out and then just tells him how much she missed him while he was on his date with Daisy, and that she wants to meet his family. That’s a little much for a note to leave him. So this was all much ado about nothing.
Onto the rose ceremony to find out who Joey’s final two ladies are that will go onto the finale to meet his family. With the first rose…
Daisy, will you accept this rose?
No surprise whatsoever there. I do think the next one still goes to Kelsey, but the whole note thing might have thrown a wrench in Joey’s head.
Kelsey, will you accept this rose?
As expected last week. Obviously that was going to happen. He told the other two ladies he was falling in love with them and not Rachel, so of course she was going on. If it weren’t for that note to throw an ounce of doubt into it, we wouldn’t have even had to have this rose ceremony.
Joey tells Rachel that she didn’t do anything wrong, and that he has love for her but he wasn’t able to get to the point of falling in love with her. Back in the studio, an emotional Rachel is on the hot seat and is pretty quickly joined by Joey. The biggest thing discussed is the hate the women of this season have gotten on social media.
Next week Joey’s journey comes to an end…does he end up with his happy ending? Why is he crying in the final rose…what happens!? Can’t wait.
