The Golden Bachelorette Keep Getting Better

I’m a couple days late again, but this season of The Golden Bachelorette might be my favorite season of a Bachelor franchise I’ve watched.

Last week Joan opened up to the guys about the struggles of how she’s feeling through this whole process, bringing her closer to her guys.

The week starts off with the group date with the card saying “bare it all for love”. So obviously its the stripper date that every season of The Bachelorette seems to have. Former Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe helps Joan host the date. The date benefits Stand Up To Cancer, which makes the guys more comfortable with it that its for charity. All of the guys crushed it and had fun, which Joan appreciated. At the after party, Chock tells Joan that the Stand Up to Cancer initiative helped him because of his mother. While talking to her, Joan tells Chock that she missed him and that she can see a future with him. Joan gives the group date rose to Chock. I feel like he has to be a front runner, and him and Kelsey’s dad are my two favorites. At the end of the date, Joan says that Chock is the first person she could see herself having a future with since her husband passed away.

The next morning, Chock gets the horrible news that his mother passed away. How sad. That absolutely sucks for him that he has to leave right after getting that rose the night before. Drives parallels to Joan having to leave on The Golden Bachelor to help her daughter. Joan comes to the mansion and Chock tells her the news and that he has to go.

Jordan has the first one on one date of the week and it starts off with ice skating in a wonderland themed rink. Fun date. Crazy that they didn’t give him hockey skates. Jordan can’t skate whatsoever and Joan just laughs as he keeps falling but they have fun. After skating, he talks to her about how he ended up getting divorced because his wife cheated on him. REO Speedwagon then comes out of nowhere and sings Can’t Fight This Feeling for Joan and Jordan. Joan gives Jordan the rose.

The second one on one date is with Guy. Their date starts with cooking together at her house. What a good date. It gives you the feel of what day to day life would be like together, and it gives you the comfortable fun experience in a casual environment. As they eat the dinner they cooked, Guy tells Joan about his divorce after 34 years. She gives him the rose.

Going into the cocktail party, Joan is afraid about that if Chock doesn’t come that, that there would be a “what if” in her head through this whole thing…because he’s clearly the front runner. Joan enjoys her night with all of the guys at the cocktail party.

What really makes her night though is Chock returning! So glad he came back for her. You can tell that he’s by far her favorite.

Onto the rose ceremony.

Pascal gets the first rose. Jonathan gets the next. The third rose goes to Mark. And with the final rose of the evening…

“Keith, will you accept this rose?”

That sends Gary, Charles, Gil and Dan home. I can’t say I’m surprised by any of those. These are good guys though. Hopefully this franchise ends up doing a Golden Paradise or something. The guys get goodbyes from the others, showing that they’ve all gotten close in this journey.

This season’s fucking incredible. This honestly might be my favorite season I’ve ever watched of a Bachelor Nation show.
