My bigger plays on last night’s NHL slate let me down as I went 3-4 to lose 3.87 units. Tonight we have a smaller four game slate for Sunday night. Let’s bounce back!
Jets vs. Wild (6:00)
The Jets have been solid in their start of the season and I like them to get a win here at home with the Wild in the second half of a back to back. I’ll take them for a half a unit.
Stars vs. Kraken (8:00)
Not the best matchup here, with both of these teams in the second half of a back to back. The Stars are the far better team here and I’ll take them for half a unit.
Oilers vs. Flames (8:00)
The Oilers have looked like completed garbage in their 0-2 start to the season, having been a huge disappointment from my preseason pick for them to win the Cup. I’d lean they win this one at home, even in the second half of a back to back, but they’re gonna have to really show improvement before I bet them again.
Golden Knights vs. Ducks (10:00)
Huge mismatch here. The Golden Knights have been a force to start the season and I’m considering putting a future on them to win the Cup. The Ducks got a win to open their season last night against the Sharks, but especially in the second half of a back to back, I expect Vegas to blow them out. I’ll take them in regulation for a unit.
