NHL Daily Gambling Preview – 11/4/24

Had my third winning night in a row on the NHL yesterday, going a perfect 3-0 to win 1.5 units. Tonight we have just two games before a big slate tomorrow. I’m not betting either game but I break them both down in depth!

Predators vs. Kings (8:00)

Interesting Western Conference matchup here. Lately both of these teams have been playing decent. After their terrible start to the season the Preds have gone 4-1-1 in their last six games, coming off a big 5-2 win at home against the Avs on Saturday night. The Kings have been pretty inconsistent this season. After an impressive 6-3 win against the Golden Knights on Wednesday, they followed that up with a 4-3 shootout loss to the Blackhawks. Both of these are tough teams to gauge. I’d lean the Preds win this one at home and I’d lean the over, but not enough to bet either. I’ll lay off this game entirely.

Oilers vs. Devils (8:30)

Solid cross conference game here. The Oilers had a miserable start to their season after having Stanley Cup expectations in the offseason. They’ve since rattled off four wins in their last five games, coming off a 4-2 win in Calgary last night to even up the Battle of Alberta this year. They’re without the best player in the world right now as Connor McDavid is out of the lineup for a few weeks with injury. After a hot start to the season for the Devils, they’ve cooled off quite a bit, with just two wins in their last seven games, getting shut out 3-0 in Calgary on Friday after winning two big games last week, putting up six goals twice in a row against the Canucks and Ducks. With the Oilers in the second half of a back to back, I’d slightly lean Jersey wins here and would lean the over, but I don’t see enough of an edge to betting it. I’ll lay off this game and take the night off.

Game Bets

None, back tomorrow.

2u Vegas Golden Knights to win the Stanley Cup (+1800)
