I thought last week’s start of the dates for Grant’s season of The Bachelor was pretty underwhelming and honestly kind of cringeworthy at time, but with plenty of emotion. Tonight the journey continues with hopefully a better week.

This week begins with the group date. The date is themed around Grant’s career in finance. Helping host the date are Hannah Berner and some guy from Shark Tank. The girls all put on their finance suites and try to earn “Grant Bucks”. Bailey wins the competition and gets a little extra time with Grant. There’s drama once again at the after party with Zoe, who started all the drama last week, back in the midst of it again. Parisa, who showed a fun side and made Grant laugh got the group date rose. After giving out the rose, Grant addresses the rumors of the drama in the house from what Zoe told him. Juliana calls her out for it immediately, who denies it, but obviously all the other girls know.

Carolina has the first one on one date of the week, starting with a flight to Vegas on a private jet. Pretty awesome. They do a fun date of a sky jump off real tall building and both have a blast doing it without much fear. At dinner, Carolina opens up to Grant about how she has epilepsy. He reassures her and gives her the rose.

The second one on one date was supposed to go to Beverly, who left the house sick apparently and isn’t coming back. They get a replacement date card, which turns out to be a three on one date with Sarafiena, Litia, and Dina. They go to Lisa Vanderpump’s dog rescue, which is a great date. Any day with dogs is the best. Must love dogs.

Back at the house, Carolina’s all in her head and jealous that she’s not on today’s date, which bothers the other girls that she’s complaining after having a one on one date.

Litia after the mini group date gets a one on one dinner with Grant. At dinner, they open up about their families, with Grant talking about his father’s issues and Litia talking about how her father passed away in a car accident when she was a baby, and how close she is with her mom and the rest of her family. After they FaceTime Litia’s mom, making her very happy…

While Carolina’s struggling at the house, she tells the confessional that Rose told her that the week before that Grant had told her that while he was dancing with Carolina, that he was thinking of Rose. Heavy allegation in Week 2.

The ladies get a gift box filled with corsages with a note that says Will You Go To Prom With Me?…fun cocktail party as Grant says that he prioritized basketball over going to his high school prom. Four of the guys from Joan’s season of The Golden Bachelorette, Gary, Jack, Jonathan, and Keith all join in on the fun too. As all the girls are having a good time with Grant at the prom, Carolina’s still spiraling and goes to talk to Grant. She brings up the thinking about Rose while dancing with her. Grant’s rattled by that and just immediately starts asking who it was and figures out it was Rose, and pulls her aside and asks her point blank if she said it. Her response is “I thought that was something that I heard you said”, pretty much saying that it wasn’t true. That’s pretty bad. Gotta immediately send this Rose girl home. After talking to Rose, Grant goes and clarifies it with Carolina.

Rose ceremony time with a lot of girls tense since they didn’t spend time with Grant while Carolina kept pulling him. Rose receives the final rose of the night, sending home Alli Jo, Chloie, and Bailey.

Another drama filled episode that didn’t make Grant seem great as the lead. I’m sure the drama continues next week. Not thrilled with this season so far in the slightest.
