I crushed last night’s game with the Panthers making it another blowout in the third period, going 2-0-1 to win 4.8 units! This afternoon we have Game 3 in the West as the tied series shifts to Edmonton, let’s win again!
Game 3: Oilers vs. Stars (3:00)
Both games of this series have been very interesting. Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals on Wednesday night was pretty insane as the Oilers pretty much dominated the first two periods of that game, but completely collapsed in the third period. They gave up five straight unanswered goals in the third period, not able to stay out of the box, allowing three in a row on the power play in the first 5:58 of the third to blow a 3-1 lead as Dallas poured it on to win 6-3. The Oilers answered right back in Game 2 on the road in more impressive fashion, with a dominant 3-0 shutout for Stuart Skinner, who made 25 saves to tie up the series. The Stars were generating decent scoring chances, but not shots on goal. With the series headed to Edmonton this afternoon, I like the Oilers to win this one at home to take their first lead of the series after being the clearly better team through five of the first six periods of this series. I’d lean the over, but not enough to bet it at 6.5 today. I’m also going to jump on a few player props as well, with half a unit each on McDavid over 1.5 points, Draisaitl over 1.5 points, and Bouchard to record a point.
