Last week a few more ladies arrived in Paradise, from the Golden side, Nancy and Faith, and from the younger side, Lea.
We pick up this week with Faith, another Golden Bachelor favorite riding a horse onto the beach. I liked her a lot on Golden, but there’s a lot of ladies for the goldens and just three guys.
April starts the week off fun, having Dale do a body shot off her.
Lea, who came in late last week, asks the only single young guy to go, Jonathan, after April saved him to stay in Paradise. They have fun on their date and say they were friends first, but it doesn’t really seem like they have a strong connection off the hot.
Kat asks Dale if he’s still open to go on a date, and he tells her no, but then tells the confessional that he is, so clearly that relationship isn’t going anywhere.
The week begins with a chemistry test, based on animal attraction, “Birds of Paradise”. The guys have to dress up as birds, and then make up their own mating dances.
Getting ready for the chemistry thing, Jeremy tells Brian that he doesn’t want to win the contest with Bailey (after last week they were swapping a piece of gum), cause he still thinks he fucked up by not giving Susie the rose when he could’ve and regrets that.
Nancy, who was the late golden arrival (and the hottest of all the older ladies), asks Gary on a date with her date card. He accepts, which rattles Leslie a bit. Nancy and Gary’s date ends up being a cacao ceremony thing. They both feel some kind of energy after drinking it, and it gets animated like they’re on some crazy acid trip.
Before the birds of Paradise thing, a new arrival, Allyshia, from Grant’s season of the Bachelor. Not really any drama to start that, but then when Dale is dancing, Allyshia jumps up and dances with him, with a spark there for sure. Sean uses April as a prop for his dance, but besides that, which pisses off Jill, but nothing else really noteworthy there. The three final couples of it, are Andrew and Alexe, Brian and Parisa, and…Sean and April. Parisa and Brian win it to get a night together in the VIP suite. Sean hits it off during the party with Allyshia, which again pisses off Jill, and this time I can’t really blame her. Jill pulls Sean away and tells him that she’s going to send herself home. After Brian and Parisa win their time in the VIP suite, in the hot tub they get into an argument when she’s asking him stuff like what’s his favorite color and bullshit like that. Which I’m not sure why he got pissed about.
Allyshia’s hitting it off with Dale, which pisses off Kat again. She goes to talk to Jonathan, who tells her that Dale said that he wants to go on a date to see if Kat “sweats” about it and freaks out about it. Kat goes to get confirmation of it from Jeremy, who denies it. Jeremy then tells Dale, who gets pissed. Dale then walks right up to Kat and Jonathan to address it. Dale denies it to her, even though he definitely talked about going on another date. Sean meanwhile is pouring it on to Allyshia, but she isn’t as into him as she is to Dale.
The next morning after they get up from the VIP suite, Brian and Parisa aren’t in the best spirits, and she says that it brought up feelings of doubt and everything seems off now between them.
Faith wants to take Kim on the horseback riding date, but since he has to leave to go get checked out at the medical clinic, Faith just asks Kathy to go and face her fear of horses. Kathy says sure. Fun use of a date, although it doesn’t really accomplish anything.
Allyshia asks Dale if he’d be open to go on the date, and although there’s a bit of tension there because of Kat. After that conversation, Allyshia goes to talk to Kat. Awkward. Whole convo, Kat’s like what the fuck. Dale and Sean are talking, and Allyshia comes over and asks Sean to go on the date. Sean and Allyshia have a cute “exploring the five senses” kind of date. Sean’s really into her, but Allyshia’s still more into Dale than him.
Three ladies are going home this week with the guys having the roses. Next week, the cocktail party continues along with the roses…with a half a million dollar twist.
