Last week had quite the dramatics on Bachelor in Paradise as Brain did what no one else in the house, Jeremy included, would have, and told Bailey about the whole phone call to Susie and chaos continued. Everyone went nuts and made Brian the villain, and although I’m not a fan of him in the slightest, I didn’t express it enough in my blog, but I do think he was absolutely right in what he did, and it was crazy that he got villainized for it. I’m not a fan of Jeremy or Brian, don’t think either are there for the right reasons, and think both of them should be going home.
The insanity continues tonight!
WE GOT THE OLD INTRO BACK! Finally!
Two couples are going home this week, with a group vote to determine who gets the roses.
This week’s challenge, Treasure Hunk, which sounds right of survivor. One partner gets locked into a treasure chest, while the other has to guide them through directions via a walkie talkie to get them out. The best couple wins it, Spencer and Jess. They very deservedly get a one on one date.
With this week’s eliminations coming down to a group vote, it feels like an episode of Survivor with people making alliances and trying to persuade other groups. Sean is the leader of making alliances and acting like douchebag, who’s overly cocky on it and even sites that his dad is in politics gives him an edge on it. Brian goes and calls him out on it. Wild behavior. Clearly Sean’s here solely for the money. Kathy and Jonathan and Lea as well, where everyone else is at least trying to play both sides of being here for the right reasons.
Spencer and Jess’s date ends up being tantric yoga. That’s the couple that should win this whole thing. By far the strongest couple in Paradise. They talk about their future outside of Paradise and both say that they’re falling in love with each other.
Sean pretty much put a target on himself by playing survivor. Allyshia’s pretty upset about the situation too since she had the other girls that she thought were her friends talking about eliminating the two of them. In Allyshia talking to Sean, she says that Kat told her that her and Sean weren’t friends, which pisses Sean off. After talking to Sean, Allyshia pulls Parisa, Bailey, and Alexe to have a talk and that goes pretty well. Meanwhile, Sean pulls Kat to talk about their friendship. That entire conversion turns into a complete blow up between the two of them.
Going into the rose ceremony, it seems like the only people on the chopping block are Sean and Allyshia for obvious reasons, Brian and Parisa, then the two platonic couples, Kathy and Keith and Jonathan and Lea.
Jess and Spencer have the first rose after winning this week. Then Alexe and Andrew, Bailey and Jeremy, Kat and Dale. Now onto the fun two. Kathy gets the next rose, which is a bit surprising.
The final rose tonight goes to…
“Jesse”
Before he calls the final rose of the night, Allyshia interrupts him and says that him and Sean have decided to leave Paradise together. Seems like quite the stupid move there at this point. If anything, wait until after that to send yourselves home. On his way out, Sean calls out Kat and Dale after Allyshia says they’re leaving with integrity.
Jesse says that Sean and Allyshia were going home anyway and with the last rose, Lea gets it, sending Parisa and Brian home. Wrong choice there.
