On yesterday’s huge NHL slate I went 3-5, losing 2.66 units. Tonight let’s bounce back on our only Sunday game with the Rangers hosting the Capitals.

Decent matchup here in the Metro to go on the second screen next to Sunday Night Football with both of these teams in the second half of back to backs, coming off wins yesterday. I don’t think the Rangers are that great, but after getting shut out 3-0 in their season opener at home by the Pens, bounced back nicely on the road with a 4-0 shutout win against my Sabres and avenging their loss with a 6-1 win in Pittsburgh last night. Still not impressed with this team though. The Caps bounced back from their opening night 3-1 loss to the Bruins with a 4-2 win on Long Island yesterday. I think Washington’s the better team here and I’ll take them to win on the road tonight for half a unit. I’d lean the under, but not enough to bet it.
