NHL Daily Gambling Preview – 11/21/25

Second great night in a row yesterday for me on the NHL, going 6-4 to win 2.6 units as my Bills lost to Davis Mills. Let’s keep rolling on tonight’s four game slate!

Sabres vs. Blackhawks (7:00)

Horrible cross conference matchup to start off the night. The Sabres are awful, in last place in the Eastern Conference with a 7-9-4 record and playing horrendous hockey. They’re coming off one of their worst game of the year as I was in the building on Wednesday, getting crushed 6-2 by the Flames, the worst team in the league at home. The Blackhawks are off to a pretty solid start to the year, impressing a lot of people in their 10-6-4 start, playing well on both ends of the ice. They’re in the second half of a black to back tonight, coming off a 3-2 loss at home to the Kraken last night, ending a six game point streak with just their second loss in their last seven games. I think even with Chicago in the second half of a back to back, the price on this game is way wrong. I’ll take the Blackhawks for half a unit at a nice price of +154. I’d lean the over, but not enough to bet it with the bad offense for Buffalo and solid defense and goaltending for Chicago. I like Connor Bedard to get a goal here as well and I’ll take that for half a unit.

Penguins vs. Wild (7:00)

Kind of an interesting cross conference game here. The Penguins are coming back home after splitting their two NHL Global Series games in Sweden, ending a three game losing streak on Sunday morning with a 4-0 shutout win. Pittsburgh’s been decent on both ends of the ice this year, with a 10-5-4 record. The Wild started their season terribly, but have turned it around. They’re on a three game win streak, improving to 10-7-4 on the year, coming off a 4-3 shootout win on Wednesday against the Hurricanes and have a 7-1-1 record in their last nine games. Statistically, they’ve been struggling on both ends of the ice though. The Pens won the first game between these teams 4-1 on the road three weeks ago. I’d lean the Wild answer back tonight on the road, but not enough to bet it. I do like the under in this game though, which I’ll take at 6 for half a unit. I like a player prop parlay as well of Sid, Geno, and Kirill to each get a point, and I’ll take that for half a unit as well.

Jets vs. Hurricanes (8:00)

Solid cross conference matchup here between two pretty good teams, both playing great on both ends of the ice. The Jets are 12-7, with three wins in their last four games, coming off a 5-2 win at home against the Blackhawks on Tuesday. They took a pretty big hit today though with Connor Hellebuyck getting shut down with a knee injury for the next 4-6 weeks. The Hurricanes are my pick to win the East, and are 13-5-2 on the season, they’re on a four game point streak with just one regulation loss in their last nine games, coming off a 4-3 shootout loss in Minnesota on Wednesday. With Hellebuyck out, I like Carolina to bounce back here tonight on the road and I’ll talk them for half a unit. I also like the over, which I’ll take at 6 for half a unit.

Kings vs. Bruins (10:30)

Going into the year I would’ve though this matchup would be horrible, but it’s actually a decent cross conference game to end the night. The Kings are in the second half of a back to back tonight, coming off a 4-3 shootout loss in San Jose last night, falling to 10-6-5 on the season. They’ve struggled offensively, but have been pretty solid defensively this year. The Bruins have shocked plenty of people including myself in their 12-10 start. I thought this team was going to be awful, but they’re still hanging in games they shouldn’t and their offense is exceeding my expectations, despite their defense being pretty bad. I’d lean LA wins tonight, but at -195 in the second half of a back to back, I’m not touching it. I’d also slightly lean the under, but don’t see enough of an edge to bet it. I’ll lay off this game completely.
