NHL Daily Gambling Preview – 11/23/25

Brutal Saturday for me on the NHL, going 4-11 to lose 4.32 units with a few near misses. Let’s bounce back on today’s six game slate!

Keeping all these short today.

Sabres vs. Hurricanes (1:00)

Huge mismatch here in the East. I like the Canes to smoke the Sabres on the road today and I’ll take them in regulation for half a unit. I also like the over even more, which I’ll take for a unit.

Jets vs. Wild (4:00)

Interesting matchup here, and it’s way better than it would’ve been a month ago. The Wild have figured things out, especially defensively and they’re playing solid hockey after their awful start to the year. The Jets are still very good, but without Connor Hellebuyck between the pipes for the next 4-6 weeks, I don’t quite trust them. I’d lean Winnipeg wins here at home, but not enough to bet it. The total’s a complete toss up to me, so I’ll stay off it entirely.

Islanders vs. Kraken (5:00)

This matchup’s interesting but I wouldn’t say it’s great by any means. I’m not convinced either of these teams are good, but they’re both playing solid hockey lately, and they’re both in the second half of back to backs. I’d lean the Isles win at home with the better offense, but not enough to bet them. I’d lean the under as well since both of these teams have been good defensively, but with both in the second half of back to backs, I’ll lay off this game completely too.

Blackhawks vs. Avalanche (7:00)

This should be a pretty good game despite it being a pretty big mismatch. The Blackhawks are coming off two bad losses, but have exceeded my expectations this year and have been good statistically on both ends of the ice. I didn’t think the Avs were great last night, yet still ended up shutting out the Predators with a 3-0 win. They’re still the best team in the league though. I still like the Avalanche, even in the second half of a back to back to win on the road here, and I’ll take them in regulation for half a unit. I’d lean the over, but not enough to bet it. I’ll also take a player parlay of MacKinnon, Necas, Makar, and Bedard to each get a point for half a unit.

Sharks vs. Bruins (8:00)

Both of these teams have been better than a lot of people expected they would be this season. I’d slightly lean the Bruins win this one on the road, but don’t like it enough to bet on. I’d also slightly lean the under, but I don’t see the edge in betting that either, so I’ll lay off it as well. I will take a player prop parlay of Pasta and Celebrini to each get a point for a unit.

Canucks vs. Flames (9:00)

Terrible matchup to end the night. The Flames have played a bit better but they’re still one of the worst teams in the NHL, and they’re in the second half of a back to back tonight, coming off their first two game win streak of the season. The Canucks haven’t been much better, with an awful defense despite their decent offense. I’d lean Vancouver wins this game but don’t trust them enough to bet it. I’ll lay off this game entirely.

Bets

.5u Hurricanes in regulation (-120)

1u parlay: Pastrnak/Celebrini 1+ point each (-145)

Record: 142-135-1 (-19.32 units)
