I went 3-3 last night on the NHL to lose .6 units, mainly on the Vegas game. We have just one game tonight as the Oilers face the Stars before a full 15 game slate tomorrow to head into Thanksgiving, let’s bounce back on it!
Oilers vs. Stars (9:00)
This rematch of the Western Conference Finals from the past two years should be pretty solid. The first time these teams played this season lived up to expectations earlier this month, with the Stars winning 4-3 in a shootout at home, coming back from a 3-1 deficit in the third period. The Oilers have really struggled this season, ending a three game losing streak on Saturday with a 6-3 win in Florida in a rematch of the last two Cup Finals. They’re 10-9-5 on the year, playing decent offensively but playing awful on the back end. The Stars have been very good, playing well on both ends of the ice. They’re 13-5-4 on the season, with just two regulation losses in their last 16 games. Dallas is coming off a pretty surprising loss on Saturday, losing 3-2 in a shootout in Calgary, erasing a 2-0 deficit in the third period, with Roope Hintz tying it up to go to OT with 3:07 left in regulation. Dallas will be without Mikko Rantanen though tonight, who’s serving his suspension from a bad hit on Saturday. I like the Stars to win as a dog here on the road, and I’ll take them for a unit. At 6.5, I’d slightly lean the under, but not enough to bet it. I’m also going to go with a player prop parlay with a unit on Connor McDavid, Leon Draisaitl, and Jason Robertson to each get a point.
Bets
1u Stars ML (+120)
1u parlay: Connor McDavid/Leon Draisaitl/Jason Robertson 1+ point each (-105)
Record: 148-140-1 (-19.52 units)
