Lost 0.54 units going 1-2 on last night’s quick slate. After just two games last night, tonight we have a gigantic 14 game slate before just two games again tomorrow. Wonderful scheduling by the NHL…but let’s crush it!
No breakdowns here tonight, just my thoughts on each game and the picks. Short and sweet. Look all that usual shit up on ESPN or NHL.com.
Sabres vs. Capitals (7:00)
I love my Sabres to stay hot and extend it to nine wins in a row. I’ll parlay them for a unit with Tage to get a point after his eleven game streak ended. I’d lean the over, but not enough to bet it.
Bruins vs. Sharks (7:00)
I like the Bruins to keep their home win streak going here and I’ll take them for half a unit. I’ll also parlay David Pastrnak and Macklin Celebrini to each get a point for half a unit. I’d lean the under, but not enough to bet it.
Maple Leafs vs. Ducks (7:00)
I like the Leafs to keep losing, so I’ll take the Ducks on the road here for half a unit. I’ll also parlay William Nylander and Cutter Gauthier to each get a point for half a unit. I thought about adding I considered taking the over, but don’t like it enough to bet on at 6.5.
Lightning vs. Red Wings (7:00)
The Lightning keep losing me money, but I’m back on them here and I’ll take them in regulation for half a unit. I’d lean the over, but not enough to bet it. I’ll also take Kucherov over 1.5 points for half a unit, and parlay him to get a point with Lucas Raymond for half a unit.
Panthers vs. Blue Jackets (7:00)
I’d lean the Blue Jackets win here on the road, but not enough to bet them. I’d also lean the over, but not enough to bet that either. I will parlay Zach Werenski, Kirill Marchenko, and Matthew Tkachuk to each get a point for half a unit.
Devils vs. Flames (7:00)
Brutal game here. I’d lean the Devils win at home, but don’t trust them enough to bet it at -195. I’d also lean the under since neither of these teams can score, but I’m not touching it. The only player prop I like is Jack Hughes to get a point but at -350 it’s way too expensive and I don’t have anyone to parlay it with. I’ll lay off this game completely.
Hurricanes vs. Blues (7:00)
I love the Canes to get a win here tonight at home after they got shut out 3-0 the first time these teams played. I’ll parlay them with Sebastian Aho and Seth Jarvis to each get a point for a unit. The total’s a complete toss up.
Stars vs. Oilers (8:00)
I like Dallas to win here at home and I’ll take them for a unit. I also like the over which I’ll take for half a unit too. My favorite play though on this game is a unit parlay on Connor McDavid, Leon Draisaitl, Jason Robertson, and Wyatt Johnston. Additionally, I’ll take McDavid to get over 1.5 points for half a unit.
Wild vs. Flyers (8:00)
Huge mismatch, especially with the Flyers in the second half of a back to back. I’ll take Minnesota in regulation at home for a unit. I’d slightly lean the under, but not enough to bet it. I’ll also parlay the three Wild stars, Kirill Kaprizov, Matt Boldy, and Quinn Hughes to each get a point for a unit.
Jets vs. Rangers (8:00)
I’d slightly lean the Jets win here at home, but not enough to bet them. The total’s a complete toss up to me. I’ll parlay Mika Zibanejad, Kyle Connor, and Mark Scheifele to each get a point for half a unit.
Mammoth vs. Blackhawks (9:00)
I love the Mammoth to bounce back here at home, especially after they just lost in overtime in Chicago on Monday. I’ll parlay the moneyline with Clayton Keller to get a point for a unit. Total’s a toss up.
Canucks vs. Predators (10:00)
The Canucks are an auto-fade for me, so I’ll parlay the Preds moneyline with Ryan O’Reilly to get a point for half a unit. I’d lean the over, but not enough to bet it.
Golden Knights vs. Penguins (10:00)
I’d lean the Golden Knights get out of their slump here at home, but I’m not touching them. I’d also slightly lean the over, but not enough to bet that either at 6.5. I’ll parlay Jack Eichel and Mitch Marner to each get a point for half a unit.
Kraken vs. Avalanche (10:00)
Coming off of Tuesday’s bullshit with assists from MacKinnon and Makar taken off the board on the Necas goal, when it clearly should’ve been Nate and Brock Nelson getting an assist on it, clearly not unassisted, especially with MacKinnon getting kicked out of the game after that when he crashed into the goalie on a play where I thought Darnell Nurse pushed him in, I love the Avs to bounce back here on the road. I’ll take them in regulation for a unit. I’ll also parlay MacKinnon, Makar, and Necas to each get a point for a unit and take MacKinnon to get over 1.5 points for a unit. I’d lean the over, but not enough to bet it.
