NHL Daily Gambling Preview – 3/23/26

My nice little run on the NHL came to an end with a bad day yesterday, going 3-13 to erase my weekend wins and drop 9.05 units. After a loaded weekend, we have just one lousy game, let’s bounce back tonight on Rangers vs. Senators.

Rangers vs. Senators (7:30)

This Eastern Conference matchup isn’t a great game for our only game tonight after a huge weekend of hockey. The Rangers have been horrible, the worst team in the East with a 28-33-9 record and they’ve been even more pathetic at home, where they’re 9-17-7. They’re in the second half of a back to back tonight, coming off a 3-2 shootout loss at home to the Jets yesterday in an early matinee for their fourth straight loss. The Senators are on a tear, just four points back from the Islanders for the second Wild Card spot in the East. Coming off a 5-2 win at home against the Leafs in the Battle of Ontario on Saturday, they’ve gone 13-3-2 in their last 18 games, playing great on both ends of the ice, especially offensively. These teams split their first two games, each winning on the road, with a 4-2 win for New York in Ottawa in December, and the Sens answering with an 8-4 win at MSG in January. Especially with the Rags in the second half of a back to back, I love Ottawa to win here on the road and I’ll take them for 1.5 units, laying the -192. I like the over as well, which I was surprised was just 5.5 and I’ll take that for a unit. I’ll also parlay Mika Zibanejad, Tim Stutzle, and Brady Tkachuk to each get a point for half a unit.

Bets

1.5u Senators ML (-192)

1u Senators/Rangers over 5.5 (-130)

.5u parlay: Mika Zibanejad/Tim Stutzle/Brady Tkachuk 1+ point each (+188)

Record: 819-898-2 (-72.8 units)
