It’s already hometowns for Joey’s season of the Bachelor as he’s down to his top four ladies; Daisy, Rachel, Kelsey A., and to my disappointment, Maria. He clearly has very real feelings with all four of the women and it should pan out to be a very good finish to this season. Kelsey’s hometown of New Orleans is the first one up for Joey as … Continue reading “Joey, can I talk to you for a second?”
Second winning day for a row for me on the NHL yesterday, going 3-1 (with the loss coming a goal short on the Wild puck line) to win .82 units. Tonight we have a six game slate, let’s make it three straight winning days! Maple Leafs vs. Bruins (7:00) Really solid Atlantic Division matchup in this game between two of the top three teams in … Continue reading NHL Daily Gambling Preview – 3/4/24
I took a few days off of these, but on today’s Brew Review, I’m having a fun one, Bamm Bamm Rubble Rubble from Weldwerks in Colorado. This 5.2% Fruity Pebbles inspired sour ale was brewed with fruity rice cereal, strawberry, vanilla, marshmallow, and milk sugar. Continue reading Brew Review – Weldwerks Brewing Co. Finally a winning night for me on the NHL yesterday, being selective to go 2-1 and win 0.38 units. We’ll take it. Today we have a six game Sunday slate. Let’s make it two winning days in a row. Capitals vs. Coyotes (1:00) Pretty lousy matchup here. Neither of these teams have been all that great this season, but they’re both coming off wins on … Continue reading NHL Daily Gambling Preview – 3/3/24
Jack Hughes missed a penalty shot with 2 seconds left, so I went 0-2 last night on the NHL (shocker), losing 1.7 units. Huge 13 game slate today, let’s bounce back. I’m being much more selective with my plays today. Hurricanes vs. Jets (12:30) Great cross conference matchup to start the day. Both of these teams have been fantastic this season, playing really well on … Continue reading NHL Daily Gambling Preview – 3/2/24
The fact that I still keep writing these NHL blogs every day is kind of mind blowing at this point. Last night I ran into more bad luck on the Panthers in regulation (they won anyway obviously) and Bertuzzi hitting the pipe with 2 seconds left to not hit the Leafs over. I finished the night 4-4, losing 0.92 units. Tonight we have just three … Continue reading NHL Daily Gambling Preview – 3/1/24
Yet another losing night for me on the NHL last night, going 1-3 to get crushed (again with a regulation loss where the team I bet won anyway), losing 3.45 units. Tonight we’ve got a giant slate with twelve games. Let’s see if we could get a winning night on leap day. I’m limiting myself to half unit bets ONLY for the rest of the … Continue reading NHL Daily Gambling Preview – 2/29/24
The sours from Adroit Theory I think are the best beers in the world, bar none. On today’s Brew Review, I’m having Fruit of the Damned. This 4.5% heavily fruited sour combined passion fruit and pina colada flavors. Continue reading Brew Review – Adroit Theory Brewing Fruit of the Damned (Passion Fruit Colada) (Ghost 1485)
After what should’ve been a bye week in Mexico, the PGA Tour begins the Florida swing this week at PGA National Golf Club in Palm Beach with a new sponsor for the Cognizant Classic. Course Breakdown Par 71, 7147 yards, one of the most difficult courses on the PGA Tour every year (6 of the last 11 years, its been the hardest non-major of the … Continue reading Cognizant Classic – Gambling/DFS Preview 2024
My NHL picks were pretty solid on yesterday’s big slate, going 5-3, but with my biggest play losing in overtime, I took a 0.47 unit loss. Tonight we have just two games before another huge slate tomorrow and I break them both down and give my picks. Rangers vs. Blue Jackets (7:00) This is quite the lousy Metro Division matchup in the second half of … Continue reading NHL Daily Gambling Preview – 2/28/24
