Today’s Brew Review is a real fun one in anticipation of hockey season starting tomorrow, Big Deal Brewing. For this new venture, the Spittin’ Chiclets boys partnered with Labatt for a series of new beers. Their first, the Original is a 4.5% golden ale inspired by Paul ‘Biz Nasty’ Bissonnette’s favorite drink.

Brew Review – Equilibrium Brewery/Civil Society Brewing Company Barrel Aged Graceland Grand Royale

I’m having a special 14% imperial stout on today’s Brew Review, Equilibrium’s collab with Civil Society Brewing Company of their Barrel Aged Graceland Grand Royale. They aged the original Graceland base for 24 months in a Willett bourbon barrel and conditioned it on banana, peanuts, and marshmallow and then added a generous addition of flaked coconut and honey. The next beer I’m trying from Monkish and Other Half’s JFK2LAX flight week series on today’s Brew Review was brewed by Monkish, JFK2LAX: Regional Flights.
