I’m having a beer from over a year ago, Icarus Brewing in Lakewood, NJ’s DDH Power Juicer (Julius) on today’s Brew Review. This heavily wheated and oated 7.5% north east imperial IPA with lactose was copiously dry hopped with Galaxy, Columbus, Lupulin Citra and double dry hopped with Julius hops. It’s definitely stout szn in November and on today’s Brew Review I’m having Twice Baked Break, brewed by Mortalis in collaboration with Evil Twin Brewing in NYC. This 10% imperial stout is conditioned on Dominican cacao nibs, Madgascar vanilla, in house toasted almonds and over 100 pounds of actual chocolate almond biscotti.
