I’ve had a good amount of stouts in the past that were based on peanut butter and jelly and for the most part I’ve liked all of them. But I’ve never had a PB&J based sour. RAR Brewing in Cambridge, MD’s Out of Order series of sours are some of the best and I thought the PB&J variant was worth giving a shot.

Hopefully all the “zonies” enjoyed yesterday’s Brew Review of Bud Light, but today we’re back to normal with the nice beers. Tonight’s Brew Review is a sour that was made by Other Half in collaboration with Magnify, Magna Cotta Cult. I had pretty high expectations for this berliner. Made with blueberries, coconut, kaffir lime leaf, tahitian vanilla, yogurt and milk sugar, I thought that mix would make a good beer in the 6.5%.
