I didn’t get the whole Rad set from Angry Chair this year, but I did grab their signature Barrel Aged Imperial German Chocolate Cupcake Stout on today’s Brew Review. I think this imperial stout double barrel aged 26 months in bourbon and apple brandy barrels with coconut, chocolate, vanilla beans, and lactose went bad. I haven’t had a stout from Corporate Ladder for a few years, and on today’s Brew Review, I’m trying Amalgamation. This 15.43% Imperial stout aged in a single Old Elk Wheated barrel and Willett Family Estate 9 Year Bourbon barrels and was conditioned on marshmallow, Comoros vanilla beans, vanilla granola, and peanut butter cream.
