I’m having my last of this batch of Boiler stouts on today’s Brew Review, Joy Ride. This 13.9% double mashed extended boil Russian imperial stout was clearly inspired by Almond Joy, aged nearly 30 months in a single 8-Year Willett Wheated Bourbon barrel, conditioned toasted and raw coconut, toasted almonds and a triple dose of cacao nibs sourced from Guatemala, the Dominican Republic, and Ghana.
