Brew Review – Angry Chair Brewing Barrel Aged Imperial German Chocolate Cupcake Stout (Super Rad Set 2024)

On today’s Brew Review from the golf cart, I’m having the first of Angry Chair’s Super Rad Set from this year with their classic Barrel Aged Imperial German Chocolate Cupcake Stout. This 11% imperial sweet stout was brewed with toasted coconut, cacao nibs, Madagascar vanilla beans, and lactose and aged 16 months in Willett, Heaven Hill and Maker’s Mark barrels. Brew Review – Monkish Brewing Co. Barrel-Aged Little Twin Stars (2024)

On tonight’s Brew Review I’m trying out just my second stout from Monkish, this year’s Barrel-Aged Little Twin Stars. This 15.5% blend of imperial stouts was aged in Buffalo Trace and Willett bourbon barrels between 40 and 48 months and conditioned on loads of coconut and Ghana cacao nibs.
