I started the NHL season nicely, going 2-0 to win a unit on opening night. Tonight we have five pretty good games. Let’s crush ‘em! Canadiens vs. Maple Leafs (7:00) A storied Canadian rivalry kicks off the season for these two teams. The Habs really struggled last year and although I think they improve this season, they’re still pretty far behind the Leafs. I like … Continue reading NHL Daily Gambling Preview – 10/9/24
I split the Global Series games going 1-1 to start the season in Prague. Today the puck really drops on the NHL season with three solid matchups. Let’s win!! Kraken vs. Blues (4:30) Not a great matchup as both of these teams were pretty disappointing last year. I’d slightly lean the Kraken win at home and the over, but not enough to bet either, so … Continue reading NHL Daily Gambling Preview – 10/8/24
Yesterday the Sabres opened the season looking the same as last year in a 4-1 loss to the Devils in the NHL Global Series, and they followed it up today with an even worse loss, with Devon Levi making a 3-1 loss look better on paper than how poorly this team played. The Sabres looked a little better to start today’s game than they did … Continue reading Sabres vs. Devils: 10/5/24 – Game Reactions/Recap
I started the season yesterday with a win as the Sabres and the Devils opened the year with the NHL Global Series in Prague. This morning they play again before the season really begins later this week! Let’s win again! Sabres vs. Devils (10:00 AM) Yesterday the Sabres opened the season with a 4-1 loss to the Devils in a lousy loss reminiscent of last … Continue reading NHL Daily Gambling Preview – 10/5/24
Last year was a huge disappointment for the Sabres. Two years ago we fell just a point short of making the playoffs with the outlook of the youngest team in the league making strides that made this city excited about hockey again. The issue back then was the goaltending and defense. That improved a ton last year, but the offense fell completely flat. Lousy year, … Continue reading Sabres vs. Devils: 10/4/24 – Game Reactions/Recap
The puck drops on the NHL season this afternoon as the NHL Global Series in Prague starts the season with my Sabres heading overseas to face the New Jersey Devils. Let’s kick off the season with a win in a fun game! Sabres vs. Devils (1:00) Solid matchup at a neutral site for the first game of the season this afternoon with two young teams … Continue reading NHL Daily Gambling Preview – 10/4/24
Tonight the NHL season ends with the most incredible Game 7 on the Stanley Cup that I’ve ever seen. On Friday night, the Oilers erased a 3-0 series deficit with a 5-1 win in Game 6 at home. Tonight one of these teams will lift Lord Stanley in Florida. Let’s end the year in incredible fashion! Game 7 – Panthers vs. Oilers (8:00) It all … Continue reading NHL Daily Gambling Preview – 6/24/24
I was shocked that after losing Game 4 in a blowout, the Panthers couldn’t bounce back to win the Cup on Tuesday night in Game 5 of the NHL Stanley Cup Finals as the Oilers won 5-3 on the road. I lost my big play doubling down on Florida, losing 5.4 units. I don’t regret that play though. Tonight we have Game 6 of what’s … Continue reading NHL Daily Gambling Preview – 6/21/24
The Oilers put on a show in their Game 4 blowout 8-1 win on Saturday night to avoid elimination. I went 0-2, losing 2.5 units. Tonight the NHL Stanley Cup Finals shifts back to Florida as the Panthers look to bounce back and win the Cup, let’s end the season hot tonight! Game 5 – Panthers vs. Oilers (8:00) These teams will once again make … Continue reading NHL Daily Gambling Preview – 6/18/24
This could be the last one of these blogs of the season with the Stanley Cup in the building in Edmonton tonight and a 3-0 series lead for the Panthers, coming off their 4-3 win on the road in Game 3 on Thursday night. I went 1-2 on that game, losing 1.9 units. Let’s bounce back tonight as Florida looks to lift the Cup with … Continue reading NHL Daily Gambling Preview – 6/15/24
