I didn’t love the last flavor of Frequentem’s spectacular Just Fruit series of heavily fruit sours that I tried, so they had to bounce back with this one on today’s Brew Review. On today’s Brew Review I’m having Equilibrium’s Brewing Barrel Aged The Campfire Strikes Last, part of this year’s Death Star collab with J. Wakefield series. This heavy 18% imperial stout was aged 26 months in a singular Taconic barrel, then conditioned on roasted hazelnuts, marshmallow, Mostra Philippine Leizel Silvano coffee, graham cracker, honey, cacao nibs, and Vanuatu vanilla.
