When I had the original Nyx from Mortalis, I thought it was incredible so I was even more excited for today’s Brew Review of Nyx Falcon, a 10% imperial stout they brewed in collaboration with Horus Aged Ales. The thick base was conditioned on toasted coconut, Madagascar vanilla and the most toasted macadamia nuts that Mortalis ever used. On today’s Brew Review, I’m having Systems 3.0, an 8% fruited double IPA that Mortalis brewed in collaboration with Fidens in Albany, NY and Widowmaker in Boston, MA. A soft full base was hopped with Lupomax, Citra and Mosaic and then conditioned on pineapple. This limited release Buffalo Blue Punch Liquid Lollipop with blue raspberry, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, guava and mango.
