Today’s Brew Review was brought back to Buffalo driven all the way from Florida by a friend of mine to try out. I never heard of this brewery so it was cool to try a beer from there.

What I thought trying the J’Dub’s Brewing Up Top IPA. Continue reading Jdubs’s Brewing Company Up Top!

I don’t understand how a brewery like RAR Brewing in Maryland even thinks up a flavor for a sour like White Chocolate Strawberry Mousee…but how awesome does that sound? I was pretty pumped to try this variant of Out of Order. Continue reading Brew Review – RAR Brewing Out of Order: White Chocolate Strawberry Mousee

I went on a long run of doing a ton of Brew Reviews of 450 North’s Slushy XL series so I took a break for a bit and mixed it up with other breweries, but today it’s back. Today’s Slushy XL is Hawaiian Juice with apricot, guava, papaya, passionfruit and pineapple.

Here’s how it was: Continue reading Brew Review – 450 North Brewing Co. Slushy XL Hawaiian Juice

I’ve had a good amount of stouts in the past that were based on peanut butter and jelly and for the most part I’ve liked all of them. But I’ve never had a PB&J based sour. RAR Brewing in Cambridge, MD’s Out of Order series of sours are some of the best and I thought the PB&J variant was worth giving a shot.

Here’s how I thought it held up: Continue reading Brew Review – RAR Brewing Out of Order: PB&J

It’s been a little while since I’ve done any sours for a Brew Review (after I went on a pretty long run of reviewing them every day), so today I went with a local one from Buffalo that I’ve been seeing a bunch of people I know having variations of. I’ve had a few of Froth’s Liquid Lollipop triple fruited sours and today I tried the key lime pie flavored one with key lime, graham cracker and vanilla bean. Hopefully all the “zonies” enjoyed yesterday’s Brew Review of Bud Light, but today we’re back to normal with the nice beers. Not the beers that I have a 30 rack of sitting in my fridge that I could crush like water. I still wanted a lighter beer so I went with the lowest ABV beer in my fridge, Other Half’s 4.7% Forever Ever. I’ve had the DDH hop version before but not the regular one, so let’s see what I thought of this session IPA. Continue reading Brew Review – Other Half Brewing Co. Forever Ever

Today’s Brew Review is the most popular beer in America, Bud Light. I had to mix it up from the fancy craft beers and just had to review one of my favorites that everyone’s had A LOT. Continue reading Brew Review – Bud Light

Tonight’s Brew Review is a sour that was made by Other Half in collaboration with Magnify, Magna Cotta Cult. I had pretty high expectations for this berliner. Made with blueberries, coconut, kaffir lime leaf, tahitian vanilla, yogurt and milk sugar, I thought that mix would make a good beer in the 6.5%.

Here’s how I thought it was: Continue reading Brew Review – Other Half Brewing Co. x Magnify Brewing Company Panna Cotta Cult

Today’s beer I’m reviewing came all the way from Kansas City, MO for me to try. A light 4.4% wheat beer with the most generic name ever from Boulevard Brewing Co.

Let’s see how it stacked up: Continue reading Brew Review – Boulevard Brewing Co. Unfiltered Wheat Beer

Today’s Brew Review is the perfect summer beer to kick off memorial day weekend, the Painkiller version of J.R.E.A.M. (juice rules everything around me) from Burley Oak Brewing Company.

Check out what I thought of this 4.8% berliner weisse based on the island cocktail. Continue reading Brew Review – Burley Oak Brewing Company Painkiller J.R.E.A.M.
