I was a little intimidated on today’s Brew Review as I reviewed it with one of the brewers standing right next to me, this year’s Barrel Aged Aphrodite from Mortalis. This 13% imperial milk stout was brewed with chocolate, cocoa, Madagascar vanilla, marshmallow, graham cracker, and milk sugar, then aged 18 months in Heaven Hill barrels.
