Week 12 NCAAF Gambling Preview 2019

One of the main reasons that I started this blog was to break down gambling previews on what I was personally betting on week in and week out. I’ve really only done that every week of the regular PGA season. So why not start doing it for college football? I bet it every week anyway so here’s my quick preview of the games I’m betting today. Enjoy.

Alabama -19 @ Mississippi State (noon)

Coming off of their loss last week to LSU in the biggest game of the year, the Crimson Tide head to Mississippi State to take on the Bulldogs in a spot I really like them to bounce back. Mississippi State is one of the worst teams in the SEC, losing four of their last five games with their only win in that time coming last week in Arkansas against one of the worst teams in the country. I think Bama blows them out and wins by at least 20. The line of -19 seems cheap to me. Bama also still needs to win convincingly in the remainder of their games for a possible shot at the playoffs, since now they’re on the outside looking in with a low chance of getting in. Roll Tide!

Georgia -3 @ Auburn (3:30)

I like #4 Georgia -3 this week at #12 Auburn in this SEC matchup. Georgia has the best defense in the country and they should be fourth playoff team even with the loss to SC earlier this year, unless Minnesota ends up running the table. Kirby Smart isn’t a great coach and if he was, Georgia would’ve never lost that game and would be winning games more convincingly. I think Georgia keeps rolling and beats Auburn today. Auburn’s a bit overrated. Their losses have come to #10 Florida and #1 LSU. So they’re not a bad team, but Georgia’s better (and they beat Florida). They should win by like a touchdown and cover the field goal spread.

1Q Ohio State -13.5 (-145) @ Rutgers (3:30)

Ohio State looks like no one in college football can beat them. They’re the favorites to win the National Championship and the only reason they’re ranked #2 instead of #1 is because LSU has a better resume of wins playing in the SEC. Rutgers on the other hand is one of the biggest jokes of a program in all of college football. OSU blows them out today. I don’t like the game line of 53 because I could easily see OSU win like 47-0 or something and not care to cover the line. I see a lot of value though in the 1st quarter line being only -13.5. Only two touchdowns cover this and even at the higher juice of -145, I like the Buckeyes to get off to a quick start and get a nice early lead over shitty Rutgers.

Good luck and let’s make some cash today!
