Last night I started off pretty good, going 4-1 to start the night. Edmonton missed a few close empty netters and put one off the pipe as time expired to not hit their team total but not a huge deal as the Leafs and Oilers both won in regulation and hit their puck lines. In the later game though, I got absolutely fucked by the Blues giving up the tying goal with 0.04 left on sloppy play while time ran down. Arizona forced overtime where they won in a shootout. Big swing making me completely break even on the night instead of winning 2.6 units. But whatever, at least I didn’t lose. Back at it again tonight on a pretty big slate, even with a bunch of covid cancellations.
Panthers vs. Red Wings (7:00)
On Sunday I was debating between the Panthers in regulation or Detroit +1.5 in the matchup between these two teams and picked wrong as Florida took their first regulation loss of the season. I don’t think Florida takes back to back losses to one of the lousiest teams in hockey so I’m on the Florida ML and regulation line (to cut down on a little juice) for half a unit each tonight.
Senators vs. Oilers (7:00)
The Senators are bad in goal and bad defensively and can’t score and yesterday lost to the Oilers 3-1 winning me Oilers in regulation and puck line. With Koskinen back in goal for the the Oilers, I’m back on them with a half unit each in regulation and puck line.
Predators vs. Lightning (8:30)
Last night with Curtis McElhinney making his first start in eleven months, which wasn’t a problem as the Bolts beat the Preds 4-1. Vasilevskiy’s likely back in goal tonight and with the prices cheaper than I expected them to be, I’ll take Tampa on the ML and PL for half a unit each.
Stars vs. Blackhawks (8:30)
On Sunday, I added the Blackhawks late when Subban was confirmed in net and lost anyway. Should’ve just stayed off it. Tonight Lankinen is back in goal for the Hawks and Oettinger for the Stars so I’m staying off this game. Should be a close one.
Flames vs. Jets (10:00)
In the battle of Alberta on Saturday, the Flames got highly outshot in the first period against the Oilers before outshooting them in the other two periods and winning 6-4 in a wildly entertaining game. In games this year against Winnipeg, the Jets have beat the Flames in three of their four matchups. I think this game stays close, should go over but could definitely result in either team winning. I’m skipping this one.
Golden Knights vs. Ducks (10:00)
Vegas is keeping their winnings going and are still the best team in hockey. Vegas is 2-0 in their games against the Ducks this season and I think that continues tonight. Two units on Vegas in regulation.
Kings vs. Sharks (10:00)
It feels like theres been games between the shitty California teams every night this year. Both these teams suck and are at the bottom of the West Standings. I’d lean the Sharks here but I’m not betting on it.
