Back in the loss column yesterday. Take a couple days off betting to regroup but still breaking down every game to see if I can get back on track of picking games.
Lightning vs. Hurricanes (5:00)
I think both of these teams are very good. After getting shut out twice against Carolina this season (1-0 and 4-0), Tampa answered back in their last game to win 4-2. I’d lean Tampa here but this game’s too close to tell.
Panthers vs. Stars (5:00)
The Stars have been underwhelming this season and Florida’s been pretty good. On Monday Florida beat Dallas 3-1 and I’d lean on them winning again tonight. Dallas looks like shit this year.
Flyers vs. Rangers (7:00)
The Flyers still have a bunch of guys out with COVID and injuries and they’re coming off a 7-3 loss to the Bruins outdoors at Lake Tahoe. In the game before that against the Rangers (which I bet on Philly), the Flyers despite having a bunch of guys out took NY to overtime before losing 3-2. The Rangers are now without their best player, Panarin who is on a leave of absence from the team. I’d slightly lean the Flyers here even with Brian Elliott in goal, but I’d expect this to be a very close game that’s too close to call.
Maple Leafs vs. Flames (7:00)
Before losing to Calgary 3-0 in their last game, Toronto was on a pretty nice three game win streak scoring at will. Earlier this season they beat Calgary twice 4-3 and 3-2. The Flames are struggling with injuries to some of their top players and I’d lean the Leafs to answer back from getting shut out their last game tonight, but with Hutchinson confirmed in goal from Toronto (who’s allowed 3 goals in each of his two starts this season), I wouldn’t bet on them tonight.
Coyotes vs. Ducks (9:00)
The Yotes edged out Anaheim on Monday night to win 4-3 and take the lead in their season series. All three games between these teams this season have been one goal decisions. I think Arizona’s the better team here and should win. I also don’t hate the Ducks +1.5, but if I had to bet this game I’d probably go with Arizona ML.
Avalanche vs. Wild (9:00)
The Avalanche are coming off a great four games against Vegas where they split 2-2 against the best team in the West. In both losses to Vegas including on Monday night, the Avs got shut out. They should bounce back against Minnesota tonight and get their third win in four games this season against the Wild. I think the price on Colorado at -175 is pretty good tonight and if I wasn’t taking a couple days off I’d be betting this one for a unit.
Blues vs. Kings (9:30)
In one of the most surprising storylines of the season so far, LA has been rallying with five straight wins behind goalie Cal Peterson with two shutouts in those five games, including most recently against St. Louis 3-0 on Monday night. If Jonathan Quick starts for the Kings tonight (currently projected), I’d lean the Blues here to end LA’s winning streak.
None, I need a couple days off gambling
