NHL Daily Gambling Preview – 3/8/21

Yesterday was another profitable day going 3-2 for a 1.3 unit win on the day. I started the day with a huge double winner on the Islanders against my sad hometown Sabres then at night went 1-2 on the half unit bets. I can live with that. Back at it tonight for hopefully the sixth winning day in the past week on a small Monday night NHL slate!

Wild vs. Golden Knights (8:00)

Vegas is the best team in hockey and along with betting against the Sabres has been my most reliable bet. Tonight they go on the road on a six game win streak and face the Minnesota Wild, who have been having a great year. In the two games between these teams last week in Vegas, the Knights won both of these matchup first 5-4 (after blowing a lead and having to win in overtime) and 5-1. I’m going back to Vegas ML tonight at the great -115 price for a unit and hitting the puck line for half a unit for the enticing +205 price.

Oilers vs. Senators (9:00)

Besides losing three straight games against the Leafs, the Oilers have been fantastic recently. In four games against the Sens this season, who have been all over the place, Edmonton’s won all of these games. I think the line on this game is expensive, so I’m going with Edmonton in regulation for half a unit.

Avalanche vs. Coyotes (9:00)

The Avs keep letting me down every time I bet on them and then win when I don’t bet on them. Colorado has won both matchups between these teams so far this season. They should win this game but with McKinnon and Makar both out, I’m not betting this game at all.

Sharks vs. Blues (9:00)

Both these teams are starting their backups tonight and both teams have the ability to score goals. I’m going with the over on this one for half a unit. I’d lean the Blues to win it but not betting the ML here.

Canucks vs. Canadiens (10:00)

This season Montreal has been successful against Vancouver, with multi goal wins in four of the five games this season. Both these teams have struggled this year but I’m going to go with Montreal for half a unit tonight.

Ducks vs. Kings (10:00)

Both of these teams haven’t been very good this year. In their only matchup this season, the Ducks won 3-1. I’d think the Kings win tonight, but I’m not betting the game.
