Last night my winning streak came to an end, but not too bad of a night as I went 4-3 for only a -0.6 unit loss. Kind of a lousy slate today to get back on track.
Senators vs. Canucks (7:00)
In the first three meetings between this season between these teams, Vancouver blew out Ottawa. In their fourth game on Monday night, Vancouver got a 2-0 lead in the first period before Ottawa came back to force overtime where JT Miller scored the game winner for the Canucks. Ottawa outshot Vancouver 46-28 in that game. I’d lean Vancouver again, especially with Joey Daccord likely in goal for Ottawa but I’m not betting it.
Rangers vs. Flyers (7:30)
The Flyers made me sweat out their 5-4 overtime thriller win against the Rangers on Monday night. That makes three games between these teams this season decided by a goal (one in a shootout and one in overtime). I’d lean the Flyers here again as well as the Rangers +1.5 but I’m not betting on it. No point in forcing a bet on this game while these teams have played so close.
Jets vs. Canadiens (9:00)
After winning their first three games against Montreal this season, the Jets have lost their last two against the Habs. I think Winnipeg’s a slightly better team and would lean them but this game’s too close for me to bet.
Flames vs. Oilers (10:00)
Edmonton’s 3-2 in the Battle of Alberta this season. Since their new coach Darryl Sutter took over in Calgary though, the Flames are 3-0 including their 4-2 win against the Oilers a few nights ago. I’d lean the over here but not enough to bet it. The winner of this game though is a toss up to me.
Golden Knights vs. Sharks (10:00)
Viva Las Vegas. In my eyes, the Knights are the best team in hockey and they are 4-0 against the struggling Sharks this year. I’m going with a unit each here on Vegas with the moneyline and the regulation line.
Kings vs. Blues (10:00)
Although I think the Blues are the better team here, they are surprisingly 2-4 against LA this season and are currently on a four game losing streak. I would think that St. Louis ends this lousy streak tonight against the Kings, but I’m not betting on it.
