Last night I won again, going 4-3 and winning 1.36 units. Could’ve had a monster night but had an almost three unit swing on Tampa as they got outworked by Dallas and lost with less than 2 minutes left in the game. Tonight might have the worst NHL slate of the season. 

Capitals vs. Devils (7:00)

The Capitals are the way better team than the Devils here and last night got their fifth win in five games against NJ. The thing that concerned me with that game though was that the Devils dictated the game and Washington just had the talent to answer back right away every time that NJ scored. In those five games, four of them the Caps only won by a goal. I feel like at some point the Devils are going to get a win in this series, so at -210, I don’t see any value in betting the Caps here. I don’t hate the Devils +1.5 either but I’m not looking to bet that with generally how much better the Caps are. Washington should win tonight but I’m fine with not betting the game at all. 

Blues vs. Ducks (8:00)

Last night the Blues got shut out 2-0 in a boring game against Minnesota. They’ve been underachieving the whole year. The Ducks are one of the worst teams in hockey. The Blues should win this game but with Villi Husso likely starting in goal since Binnington started last night, I’m not going to take the Blues at -210 with shaky goaltending and how inconsistent this team has been this year. 

Flames vs. Jets (10:00)

This season the Jets are 3-2 against Calgary. I also think Calgary has improved recently since hiring Sutter. I think Winnipeg is the better team here and should win tonight to take sole possession of first place in the North but there’s just something about this game that makes me shaky on betting it. So I’m skipping this one.

Coyotes vs. Sharks (10:00)

Both these teams suck this year. They’re 1-1 against each other in the two games they played in January with a 4-3 Sharks win in a shootout and a 5-3 Arizona win. I’d lean the over here but I’m not betting this game.
