Finally had a good day for an Easter miracle yesterday, as I went 3-0 without a sweat. Let’s keep the winning going on tonight’s seven game NHL slate.
Canadiens vs. Oilers (7:00)
This season, although I think the Oilers are the better team in this matchup, the Habs are 3-1 against them, most recently in a 4-0 shutout win for Montreal last week. I’m skipping this game.
Jets vs. Senators (7:00)
The Jets are the much better team in this matchup and they’re 4-1 against Ottawa this season. With Hellebuyck in goal for Winnipeg, I’ll go back to the Jets here for half a unit.
Bruins vs. Flyers (7:00)
The Flyers have been awful this year, especially recently. This season, the Bruins are 5-0 against Philly. I’ll take the Bruins for half a unit.
Blues vs. Golden Knights (8:00)
Vegas is on a three game losing streak right now where they haven’t been able to score more than two goals in any of those games. The Blues, are much worse with a six game losing streak. With Ville Husso confirmed in goal for the Blues, Vegas should get the puck into the net much more tonight. Vegas is 3-1 against St. Louis this year and have scored at least four goals in each of those games. I’ll take Vegas ML for half a unit as well as Vegas TT over 2.5 for half a unit.
Wild vs. Avalanche (8:00)
I think the Avs should be the overwhelming Cup favorite now and they’re 12-2 in last 14 games. The Wild have been having a really good year too but they aren’t on the same level as the Avs. I’ll take the Avs ML for a unit.
Flames vs. Maple Leafs (9:30)
The Leafs have figured out the North again and they’re 6-1 now in their last 7 games. After last night’s 4-2 win, Toronto is 5-2 against Calgary who will most likely miss the playoffs this year. I think the Leafs win this one again but there’s just something about them that make me hesitant to bet on, so I’m skipping this one.
Kings vs. Coyotes (10:00)
This game’s a snoozefest. I think Arizona’s the better team here and somehow with how bad St. Louis has been recently, the Yotes are in the final playoff spot in the West. In three games between them this season, the Kings are 2-1 against Arizona. I’d lean the Yotes to tie up the season series tonight but not enough to want to bet on them here.
