Last night wasn’t great but with the Preds shootout win, only ended up losing a little over a unit. Five game NHL slate tonight to make a nice chunk of change.
Senators vs. Oilers (5:00)
The Oilers are an impressive 7-0 this season against the Sens. I’ll take the Oilers for a unit. They should be able to score at will against Ottawa.
Maple Leafs vs. Canadiens (7:30)
This is a potential first round playoff matchup in the North as both of these teams pretty much have playoff positions locked up. In four games this season, the Leafs are 3-1 against Montreal. I’d lean the Leafs here but I’m skipping this one.
Blues vs. Golden Knights (9:00)
The Blues have been BAD lately, going 2-12 in their last 24 games. Vegas is a wagon that has the talent to win the Cup. This season, the Knights are 4-1 against St. Louis including blowouts in their last three games. I’ll take Knight ML for 2 units and the puck line for half a unit.
Wild vs. Avalanche (9:00)
I think the Avs are the favorite to win the Cup and are unstoppable, going 13-2 in their last 15 games. No one can beat this fucking team. Minnesota’s an overachieving team that although they’re pretty much locked into the playoffs, won’t go far. Colorado’s 5-2 this season against Minnesota (and those two wins came while the Avs were largely injured). I’ll take Colorado for a unit here.
Kings vs. Coyotes (10:00)
The Yotes now find themselves in a playoff spot after having six wins in their last seven games (and the Blues taking a tailspin out of the playoffs). They’ve beaten up on bad teams while losing to the good teams in the West. Arizona’s 2-2 against the Kings this season with a 5-2 win in their last game on Monday night. I’m not huge on betting on shitty teams but I think this is a decent spot, so I’ll take Zona for a half unit. I really like the +1.5 here too but it’s too expensive to bet straight up at -250.
