Had a nice bounce back day yesterday after my losing day on Saturday as I went 4-0 for +7 units. Solid day. Tonight there’s eight NHL games to keep going on last week’s wins.
Hurricanes vs. Red Wings (7:00)
In a very entertaining game on Saturday night, the Red Wings beat the Hurricanes in a 5-4 shootout win, making the season series tied at 3 between these two teams on opposite ends of the Central Division standings. Carolina should win this game but at -380 on the ML and even an expensive -245 in regulation, this isn’t a game worth betting on for me. If they win, so be it.
Blue Jackets vs. Blackhawks (7:00)
Chicago’s 5-2 this season against Columbus (who just traded Nick Foligno last night). I’ve stayed off the last few games of this matchup but tonight I’m jumping on the Blackhawks at a pretty decent price for half a unit.
Canadiens vs. Maple Leafs (7:00)
Toronto’s the best team in Canada and now that they have their goalie situation solved with Jack Campbell, who’s now 11-0 this season with a 1.88 GAA and .91 save percentage. The Leafs are 4-1 against the Habs this season. With a pretty good price on the Leafs tonight, I’ll take Toronto for a unit.
Senators vs. Jets (7:00)
The Winnipeg Jets are the much better team in this matchup and this season they’re 5-1 against the Sens. I’ll go back on that tonight with a unit each on the Jets ML and regulation line.
Wild vs. Blues (8:00) POSTPONED After a quite bad streak of hockey, the Blues have won three straight against playoff teams in Minnesota and Vegas. Tonight they play their third straight game against the Wild. I’d lean the Wild win this one to answer back from back to back losses to the Blues, but I’m skipping this game.
Avalanche vs. Coyotes (9:00)
The Avs are the best team in hockey and have won 15 of their last 18 games. They’re coming off two wins against the Ducks with their shitty backup goalie Jonas Johannson in goal. Grubauer back in goal tonight against the Yotes in a get right game for Grubauer after he lost 8-3 to Minnesota in his last start. I’ll take the Avs in regulation here for 2 units as well as a ML parlay with Vegas for 2 units.
Kings vs. Golden Knights (10:00)
Vegas is the way better team here and they’re 4-2 this season against the Kings. In addition to the 2u parlay with Colorado, I’ll take Vegas ML for a unit, a half unit on the regulation line and a half unit on the puck line.
Sharks vs. Ducks (10:30)
Out of these two shitty California teams, the Sharks are the better one. In six games against Anaheim this season, SJ’s 4-2 and coming off a 5-1 loss to the Ducks last week. I think the ML is too expensive here at -180 to bet on a shitty team but I think the Sharks win so I’ll take a half unit stab on SJ in regulation.
