Last night I went 2-0 for +2.5 units in what looked to be easy wins early but Pittsburgh almost blew a 6-0 lead going into the third period to only win 7-6 making it a sweat at the end of the game. Only four NHL games tonight but this could be a good slate!
Blackhawks vs. Predators (7:00)
After Monday night’s pretty easy 5-2 win, Smashville’s 6-0 against the Chicago Blackhawks this season. Tonight Chicago’s starting Malcolm Subban in goal which makes me even more confident to bet on Nashville here. I’ll take the Preds ML for 2 units and the puck line for half a unit.
Coyotes vs. Wild (9:00)
I crushed Monday night’s game between these two teams, hitting the ML, team total, puck line and alternate -2.5 puck line on Minnesota’s 5-2 win. And tonight I’m going right back at all of those for all of the same reasons. The Wild is 6-1 against Arizona and they’ve won by at least 3 goals in all of those games. I’ll take the Wild ML here 2 units, Wild team total over 2.5 for a unit and a half unit each on the puck line and the alternate -2.5 puck line.
Golden Knights vs. Sharks (9:30)
Monday was Patrick Marleau’s night as he passed Gordie Howe’s record with most NHL games played in his 1768th game. The story wasn’t perfect on that game though as Vegas won in a shootout for the Knights sixth win in six games against the Sharks this year. Vegas is pretty expensive on the ML and the Sharks have played them closely this year, despite not having a win. I’ll take Vegas in regulation for 1.5 units.
Oilers vs. Canadiens (10:00)
Jake Allen played awesome for the Habs on Monday but the Oilers turned it on in third period with four unanswered goals to win 4-1. The Oilers are 2-4 against the Habs this year. I’d lean the Oilers to win again here but wouldn’t bet on it. The under is 5-0-1 in games between these teams this year and the under is 10-0 in Edmonton’s last 10 games. I’ll take the under here for a unit.
