Last night kept my winning streak rolling, going 4-4 to win a unit. Can’t be too mad about a rare Colorado loss to the Blues yesterday with how the Avs have been rolling in wins lately and Carolina disappointingly blowing a 3-1 lead in the third period and losing in overtime. Shitty four game slate today. Let’s win another day!
Penguins vs. Bruins (3:00)
Both these teams are playing pretty well recently and should both make the playoffs without an issue in the East. This season the B’s are 4-2 against the Penguins and the under is 5-1 in those games. Both teams though have been playing at a fast pace and their games have trended over recently. I’d lean the Bruins win this one, bouncing back from their 6-4 loss to the Sabres on Friday night and with the Penguins coming into this game having just played yesterday. Not betting this one.
Flyers vs. Devils (6:00)
New Jersey is the worst team in hockey over the last month, coming into this game with nine straight losses and only two wins in their last eighteen games. The Flyers have sucked too with only four wins in their last thirteen games. This season the Flyers are 2-1 against the Devils. I think Philly wins this one to make it ten straight losses for the Devils, but at -200, I’m not betting on these shit bags. Skipping this game.
Rangers vs. Sabres (6:00)
The Sabres haven’t been terrible lately and have been a fun team to watch again, despite them still being bad. The Rangers have been decent lately, with six wins in their last nine games. With Tokarski in goal for Buffalo, I’d think the Rangers, who are 4-2 this season against Buffalo get a win. But I don’t think its worth betting this game at the -280 price. The season series between these teams has trended under which is 5-1 between these teams this year, but I’d lean the over and the Rangers here. No bets.
Lightning vs. Blue Jackets (7:00)
Columbus has been so bad with only two wins in their last 17 games. Tampa’s always struggled against them though despite being such a better team and the Bolts are only 4-3 this season against the Jackets. The price is so expensive on Tampa at -290 for the moneyline, so instead I’ll take Tampa in regulation for a unit as my only bet of the day.
1u Tampa in regulation (-190)
2u Stanley Cup Champions: Vegas Golden Knights (+700)
2u Stanley Cup Champions: Colorado Avalanche (+650)
1u Stanley Cup Champions: New York Islanders (+1300)
1u Stanley Cup Champions: Washington Capitals (+1600)
Record: 277-189-2 (+15.27 units)
