NHL Daily Gambling Preview – 5/9/21

As the NHL regular season comes to a close, I’m done betting it. Everything’s pretty much locked up and no one has anything to play for. Lineups aren’t normal and key guys in the playoffs are resting now. Better off saving money now and then go balls out to get rich on the playoffs. Still breaking down each game as usual.

Blackhawks vs. Stars (7:00)

Last night the Dallas Stars were eliminated from playoff contention as the Nashville Predators clinched fourth place in the Central with a 3-1 win over Carolina. Dallas is probably pretty deflated after that and Chicago is 4-2 in the season series against the Stars, so I’d lean the Blackhawks win this one. Not betting it though since this game doesn’t matter. I’d lean the over as well which has hit in the last four games between them (4-2 on the season).

Flames vs. Senators (7:00)

Ottawa got hot way too late in the season. In such a shitty North Division, if they had started the season playing the way that they’re ending it, they absolutely could have made the playoffs. But too little, too late. The Sens are 6-2 against Calgary this season and have won eight of their last ten games. I’d highly lean the Senators here and actually don’t mind the alternate puck line of Senators -1.5 at +425.

No plays until the playoffs start.
