As the regular season ends for the West Division tonight, Colorado can win the President’s Trophy with a win tonight. The other two games tonight mean nothing.
Blues vs. Wild (8:00)
Last night Ville Husso got his first career shutout in a 4-0 win over the Wild to win the season series against them. The Blues are 5-2 against Minnesota this season. I think Minny’s the better team here and would lean they answer back tonight with a meaningless win.
Flames vs. Canucks (9:00)
Due to the Canuck’s COVID issues earlier this season we still have four more meaningless games between these two teams to finish off the season. Both these teams suck and Calgary’s 4-2 on the year against Vancouver so I’d lean they win again tonight.
Avalanche vs. Kings (9:00)
The Colorado Avalanche will clinch first place in the West and the President’s Trophy as the best regular season team in hockey this season with a win over the Kings tonight. It’s so stupid that regulation wins are the tie breaker for the Presidents Trophy rather than just wins in general cause with Colorado winning this game tonight they’ll end the season with less wins than Vegas yet end up in first place. The Avs are 6-1 on the season against LA and it would shock me if they lost tonight. Winning this game’s important since the Blues are the easier playoff matchup than the Wild.
