Last night the 2021 NHL Playoffs began in the East as the Caps beat the Bruins 3-2 in overtime. Today another three series start off as well as another meaningless North Division game.
Game 1: Penguins vs. Islanders (12:00)
I think the Penguins win this series as I wrote up in my preview of the series. In addition to the futures I added on Pittsburgh, I’m on them in Game 1 for 2 units.
Game 1: Golden Knights vs. Wild (3:00)
As this series starts, which I previewed in my blog breaking down the whole series, I’m just letting my Vegas cup future ride this series. No additional bets and nothing on Game 1. I’d lean the Knights win a hard fought series here and likely win Game 1 in the fortress.
Game 1: Panthers vs. Lightning (7:30)
I’ll have a full breakdown of my expectations on this series on the blog later this afternoon, but no action on Game 1.
Canucks vs. Flame (10:30)
This season, Calgary has beat Vancouver in five of the seven games that these teams have played and covered the puck line in four of those games. I’d lean the Flames win this game again and likely win by multiple goals with Vancouver coming off a 4-1 win against the playoff bound Oilers last night, but I’m not betting this game.
