Last night went exactly how I wanted it to, going 2-0 for +1.75 units as the Vegas Golden Knights advanced in Game 7 on a 6-2 win on Mattias Janmark’s hat trick. Tonight the Leafs try to close out the last remaining first round series in Montreal with fans in the building and the second round starts off with Bruins and Islanders for the East!
Game 6: Canadiens vs. Maple Leafs (7:30)
The Habs blew a 3-1 lead in Game 5 as the ice tilted in Toronto’s direction for them to storm back but Montreal was able to win in overtime on an odd man break set up on Cole Caufield stealing the puck for a 2 on 0 as Nick Suzuki put the puck past Jack Campbell to force Game 6. There will be 2500 rabid fans in the building in Montreal tonight for the first time in Canada all season. I thought the Leafs were going to close out this series in Game 5 on home ice and they almost did. Even with fans in the building tonight on the road, I think the Leafs advance to play the awaiting Jets in the North Finals. I’ll take Toronto for a unit.
Game 1: Bruins vs. Islanders (8:00)
As I broke down in my series preview for the East Finals, I think the B’s win this series to advance to the quarterfinals. In addition to my future from before the playoffs for the Bruins to win the East, I’ll take the B’s ML for Game 1 and since I like the under but don’t see any value in the under 5, I’ll take the alternate under at 5.5 for a unit.
1u Leafs ML (-190)
1u Bruins ML (-186)
1u Bruins/Islanders under 5.5 (-165)

1u Stanley Cup Champions: New York Islanders (+1300)
1.5u Stanley Cup Champions: Boston Bruins (+900)
2u East Division Champions: Boston Bruins (+180)
